Associated Television International Announces Plans
For TV Series Based on Coincidence or Godincidence?
Los Angeles (January 15, 2011) Associated Television International executive vice-president Richard Casares has announced they are in the development stages of producing a television series called “Coincidence or Godincidence?” It would be based off the inspirational non-fiction book from author Steve Rose and his wife, Kathi.
“We have major plans for „Coincidence or Godincidence?” stated Casares. “The book which has amazing and compelling stories has already resonated with many readers. We believe „Coincidence or Godincidence?‟ has the potential to become both a television hit as well as a publishing phenomenon along the lines of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul.” The show will be very inspirational and family-value based and we feel the timing for this project is great with many people needing hope and encouragement like never before.”
ATI became involved with the project when the studio discovered “Coincidence or Godincidence?” and produced a segment from the book for its “American Bible Society Presents” series. The reaction from viewers and internal studio executives was so positive the company immediately entered into negotiations with Steve and Kathi Rose for rights to the work.
Plans for the television program are for it to be a half an hour and contain reenactments of story segments that the viewer will be able to decide are coincidences or Godincidences. The initial strategy is for the show to be placed on the Hallmark Channel, a major national cable channel for a 13-week run. Dean Cain, from “Lois & Clark: The Adventures of Superman” fame from the „90s, is being considered to host the program. Rose may also have an on-screen role in the shows.
Steve Rose, who will be the Co-Executive Producer of the show, has met twice with executives at the company‟s Los Angeles-based headquarters to take part in marketing and production strategy sessions. ATI‟s senior vice-president Justin Pierce, the executive in charge of production for “Coincidence or Godincidence?” will handle the public relations and has numerous major ties with major media. He is enthused. “I believe „Coincidence or Godincidence?‟ has huge branding potential. The marketing opportunities are numerous. The title could very well become a hot national catch phrase.”
The Roses, from Neenah, Wisconsin are much sought after speakers who speak on a wide variety of topics. Steve is already a part of literary history having written the best selling “Leap of Faith: God Must Be a Packer Fan,” which sold more than 50,000 copies.
